Busted Zipper

So, I bought this leather jacket about a year ago… and a few weeks ago the flippin’ zipper busts off while I’m unzipping it.
I don’t have super strength and it wasn’t even cold out when it happened. You gotta be jackin’ me! This thing is solid steel… how the heck did it break?
Now I’m all ghetto using a keychain clip in its stead… nice. Made in America means squat when things like this happen.
