Gravatar-ized Commenting

I’ve decided to allow commenting on my news posts. And since Gravatars are all the rage I decided to add them to the comment list. There in lay the problem…
For some unknown reason (or at least unknown to me and google), chh_article_custom refuses to function normally after being edited. Whether you’re adding the Gravatar hack code or simply removing the spaces at the end of the file, it breaks after every save. It doesn’t throw any errors, it just messes up the display pages with garbled code. Too bad I don’t know enough about PHP or TXP to understand why this was happening.
Well, to make a long story just as long, I found some guy who made a modification to his install of cch_custom_article. He just so happened to supply the plugin in a text file without that crazy plugin compression base 64 stuff. So, I took his mod, pasted it into a new text file, added the Gravatar hack, and re-installed the plugin. Bang, Zip, Pow… it worked! Wee hoo!!!
Anywho, you can leave comments on all of my news posts, and if you use your Gravatar account email you can see Gravatars in all of their glory.
