Since I’m a super video game nerd I’ve been surfing through some rumor sites over the past few months in search of next gen news. I happened upon a Nintendo Revolution site a few days ago that had some pictures that I had never seen before.
Then, earlier today, Nintendo officially announced that their next gen system would have a “self-loading media drive” (which the above picture has), be the “thickness of three standard DVD cases and only slightly longer”, and play full size DVD and GCN discs (which the above picture depicts).
Freaky. I just hope that the controller is very different than this artist rendition Now that I’ve seen the 1 button wand of idiocy, I would gladly take the above rendition.
