PSP Browser 1.0

Sony updated the Japanese firmware for their PSP yesterday. I took a gamble and tried updating my USA region PSP with the Japanese firmware(lots of people were stating that it was possible), luckily it was a success.
One of the major add-ons to the new firmware release is the addition of a web browser(img). It actually has a lot of decent features including tabbed browsing and mouse control(by using the analog nub). Sadly, it looks like they decided to write their own rendering engine rather than use an open source full featured engine cough gecko cough.
There’s a lot that needs to be added to this new app (i.e. Flash and Java support), but it looks like us web developers might have to find a way to make our sites look decent on yet another new browser.
