PSP for Me

I couldn’t resist. Even though there are no decent launch titles, the PSP just looks too damn good to pass up. I do have to say that after messing with it for a while, I’m really impressed with what Sony has done. The UI is so smooth. It reminds me of something Apple would come up with. Everything is fluidly animated, brilliantly colored, and beautifully rendered.

The only complaint that I have is that the case is made of a single solid shiny piece of plastic and it really shows finger prints/smudges.

The MP3 playback options are lacking but Sony does have a “Network Update” feature that allows for future firmware upgrades. If Sony listens to its users and updates the music playback options, I could see this thing easily replacing my iPod.

Kudos, Sony… keep up the good work!
